I could not have been happier to have arrived in India and walked around along the streets and the neighborhoods of Chennai to have met so many kind and happy people. I know that many of these people are not economically well, but they have a wealth of smiles and happiness that made them so rich personally. My encounters with them had brought me joy and happiness and I hope to have share with you the joy here.
In a neighborhood of India, I encountered many locals who would offer to have their picture taken. If I have a chance to go back, I would definitely bring a mobile photo printer to print photo taken to share with them.

At a water well, these two ladies are pumping water for their families. Most of the ground water supply in Chennai is not truly fresh. There is a salt intrusion to make the ground water a little salty.
Happiness is timeless and comes across social and economic divisions. This elderly lady enjoyed me taking photos of her so much that she just laughed and smiled the whole time.
