Walking through a neighborhood of Chennai, I could find similarity to that of walking through a neighborhood in Vietnam. There was a vendor using his bicycle to transport his tea and snack around to sell to people. A man was delivering tanks of propane on this bicycle. People sit around in front of a scrap plastic depot to wait for plastic scrappers to come back from the trash cans or from the landfill. A lady would cover her face with some yellow color, for a purpose that I am not sure of. And some kids hanging around the neighborhood when they are not in school.

This is a road of a typical neighborhood in Chennai, India. The road can fit two to three auto-ricksaw. On such road, you can find parked vehicles as well as the local traffic.
A shop of scrapped plastic. This is a shop where people save their plastic scraps or who collect scrapped plastic from trash cans and landfill would bring to resell.
Some people would color their face yellow. I am not sure why.

Most of the time, one would find kids running around neighborhood like this with their bare feet. This guy was not happy about something, but I am uncertain of the reason.
